i tried it, but windows XP service pack 2 already has the ability to make an icon, put in on the taskbar, & have its funtion be to run any program, open any file, or even go to a certain web page with just one click. this fact makes this program pointless to bother with.
this is useful if u use dos commands often. kind of a DOS emulator toolbar. if u don't use dos tho, u might as well put an address bar on ur tasbar. (right-click on taskbar>toolbars>address; then right-click on "address">show title - if u want 2 remove the word "address) also good f ur like me and hate the XP buttons, like the ugly green "go" button at the end.
this toolbar rocks! It will echo a pause when an "exit" command is executed within the command interpreter. This is useful for when you want to directly run commands that close after exit such as ipconfig. Just type ipconfig and it will pause with the display. I don't know how many times I've had to type 'cmd' , ipconfig, 'exit', in my life. This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks guys.
however this got to be a pop choice ??
maybe the program has been changed or replaced with soem joke.
instlls two programs "command prompt" and "link mailer" whatever that is
will not allow themselves to be uninstalled.
indeed when you try to uninstall link mailer - it either won't or will try to uninstall something else.
if you don't allow the parograms to be viewed in explorer it crashed i.e. leading to as system crash. Using Win 98 se.

A great program that extends the functionality of the address toolbar to enable the running of dos commands without having to start up a command prompt window.
I would highly reccomend this program to everyone who uses the command prompt for quick one off commands.
I like it verry much! It's not the same as the 'Address Bar' which comes with XP; this is actually a mini dos prompt. I think it's REALLY useful but it might be a good idea to add more functions/options on it. I'd definitely buy this if the price wasn't huge. GOOD JOB AND THANKS FOR MAKING IT FREEWARE!:)
This program is pointless, You can just create a new toolbar on your taskbar and select address duh !
Save yourself time and ram....... rightclick on your taskbar, Go up to toolbars click on address then resize to what you want.
If you don't want the text that says "address" rightclick on the word and uncheck "show title"
It's free and saves a lot time punching in the same commands agian and agian
