Club Membership System is an easy-to-use program that allows clubs of all types to keep track of member activity. The intuitive interface makes it easy to get started even without previous experience with this kind of software.
The program's interface is clean and easy to understand. The main features, including adding, editing, and viewing members, are arranged with large, easy-to-access buttons. It's simple to add members, edit their contact information, and add images to their profiles. Although the interface is not the most beautiful we've ever seen, it is very intuitive. The program's built-in Help file is well-written, but we had little need for it. More than simply a database of members, Club Membership System allows users to perform a variety of membership management functions. Clubs can also print photo ID cards, run reports detailing member activity, and optionally track user visits using a barcode scanner. This is a great choice for settings in which it would be beneficial to track the frequency and duration of member visits, as well as settings that need to ensure that all members have left the premises at the end of the day. The program includes a separate Front Gate Module that allows users to look up incoming members by number and approve them. Overall, we liked both the variety of features that Club Membership System offers as well as how easy it is to use.
Club Membership System is free to try, but the trial version allows only five member profiles to be created. It installs desktop icons without asking but uninstalls without issues. We recommend this program to all users.

Club Membership System was designed to meet the requirements of a club which needs to maintain a membership database and to track the activities of a member at the club. It creates customizable membership cards which can include barcodes, photos, text, and images. Included with the basic system is visit logging where member visits to the club are tracked. Additional modules and features can be added to handle entry or session passes, operator passwords, and other custom transaction codes.
Club Membership System works with or with a barcode scanner for handling member cards, passes, and other transactions. Several computers can be networked together to access a central database creating a comprehensive system. Each basic module and feature is separately licensed allowing the software to cover the needs of all types of clubs from small to large.
What's new in this version: Version 2.2.2 has added option to requirements reports to allow filtering out of non-members and fixed problem in requirement checking against a Jet/DAO database.

Pros
We use Club Membership System for our facility are pleased with it. We now have over 2,600 members, and Club Membership System has been indispensable in helping us store and organize member information, track facility use, and report fees received as we've grown.
Key features of Club Membership System for us:
-Records member information like date of birth, type of membership and emergency contact details
-Allows networked computers to register members as well as record transactions and member entry
-Takes and stores member's photo from a webcam
-Allows customizing flags for members (skill level, notices and warnings)
-Provides an intuitive interface that helps employees quickly learning how to use
-Creates custom membership cards including the member's photo and barcode
-Utilizes a barcode scanner to scan member's id cards and passes
-Creates various pass types and tracks usage
-Logs transactions such as payment of membership fees, facility use fees, discounts given
-Reports member statistics (number, usage, fees received) for print as well as export to .csv
-Prints to a card printer
Cons
-No built-in backup system (although instructions are included on how to backup the database and related files)
-Card and Pass designs are not customized in a WYSIWYG editor
-Member notes are stored as text files and not in database (although reports do show member notes)
