• Crippleware. 80 hours of use before cripple mode.

  It does what I want and need from a clipboard manager.

  Cons

  Crippleware. The developer uses cripple mode to extort the $40 license fee after only 3 days of use.

  Summary

  I despise crippleware. I uninstalled Clipboard Buddy after only 15 minutes.

  Pros

  I've been using Backup Buddy for about five years. - This SWEET little pgm is the one I use most - - AND, in five years, I asked the dev. a total of four questions, and he answered all four THE SAME DAY! - Try THAT with Nuance!

  Cons

  Cons? - -Yeah - don't get used to it like I did! - It's like a really good narcotic - if it doesn't work ONE DAY, you won't know how to act. (Not to worry, it has ALWAYS worked for me)

  Summary

  Now I'm so used to it, I copy almost EVERYTHING, just in case. Amazing that such a simple pgm can be so essential, and save me so much time. I wonder how much time I saved in FIVE YEARS - probably works out to a penny an hour. Yes, there is the danger that you'll get used to it like I did, - Here's just one; You write up some long explanation on some online form, and push the wrong button! - - AALLL gone! - - No, right around in the middle of it, REMEMBER TO COPY what you have! - - copy/copy/copy/copy - -COPY! - -EVERYTHING! - ok, enuf ranting -you probably got the idea by now. (heheh - I just copied this.)

  Pros

  Easy to use, transparent and (mostly) sensible design. Better than others of this type.

  Cons

  it is most definitely NOT free; it's $40--far too expensive compared toFREE utilities that do essentially the same things. And it's missing several obvious functions for this kind of utility.

  Summary

  I'm going to keep searching for a less expensive alternative. One such is "XNeat Clipboad," which isn't quite as good, but is truly free.

  shortcut keys, stay on top of all windows, no need to joggle between windows.

  stays on top of all windows, the window size for user interface is weak

  Pros

  I don't have to remember a slew of usernames and passwords. I can save many varying types of info about different topics.

  Cons

  1) I cannot drag and drop items in the list to re-order the list. 2) I cannot edit existing items. 3) It is NOT Windows Vista compatible.
