CNET Editors' review
This application offers a handy set of clip-management tools that can extend the Windows Clipboard capabilities, though it falls short when handling images.
ClipCache Pro's multipaned interface features a preview window, a text editor, and a clip browser. The program captures text snippets and retains formatting, but it can't process images. ClipCache Pro provides basic editing tools, including options for merging text and cleaning unwanted spaces and characters. Clips can be sorted and organized in folders and saved to a file. Hot keys are a nice touch to quickly access past saved clips.
Any user looking to manage and organize multiple text clips will appreciate ClipCache Pro's ease of use and straightforward features.

"Can't Do Without It"
Version: ClipCache Pro 3.4.3
Pros
It sits there in my task bar, out of sight, doing its job, day in and day out and never lets me down. I purchased it back in March of 2009 and don't know how I ever got along without it.
Cons
I wish the license allowed for use on both my desktop and my laptop but I can't really complain. They offer a family pack license but I only need two so the cost works the same. So, I have to make do with a poor substitute on the laptop.
Summary
I write so I copy/paste huge amounts of text and needed something that could handle it all and store it all - not just a few snippets. Clip Cache does all that and more. I loose things sometimes. ClipCache runs global searches and the clips show what application I was using and when I copied the text.
I don't know what the CNET editor meant by "but it can't process images." I doesn't "edit" images but it certainly copies and pastes images, websites and print screen. So where images are concerned it does everything I need it to do.
Support is excellent. I have a license for one of the company's other programs and the support for both has been very good - not that I've needed much help.
I tried umpteen other products before purchasing this one. The was the one that best suited my heavy demands. -

"Can't live without it"
Version: ClipCache Pro 3.0.33
Pros
Became an indispensible part of my computing. Has been in extensive beta testing, so some complaints may be from beta releases? Very stable on my WinXP SP2. Zero Bloat (It's a fact: some people desire bloat, I do not). Support forums at main site are very active.
Cons
Some planned features are not yet implemented as of this post. Wouldn't hurt to have more "modern" toolbar buttons.

"One of the first downloads I perform for a new computer"
Version: ClipCache Pro 2.9
Pros
I first tried Clipcache about 6 years ago when I saw it suggested in a Microsoft (!!) newsletter and figured if they liked it on Windows what the heck. Now its one of the first things I download every time I get a new computer or upgrade my OS. It is small and easy to use. The email cleanup feature alone is worth the purchase price but I use the clipboard functions dozens of times a day. This program is indespensible to me!
Cons
I have no complaints about this program

"Poor interface"
Version: ClipCache Pro 2.9
Pros
Works as advertized
Cons
I tried this and I tried ClipMate. They are both very similar in that they work as advertized but once you have more than a few clips, the interface is really poor at letting you find the ones you want to use.

"kudos from a long-time user"
Version: ClipCache Pro 2.9
Pros
This product has followed me through several computers and O/S upgrades and performed flawlessly on all of them. Given the amount I paid for it, the time I've had it, and the amount it has been used, it is probably one of the most best software purchases I have made (in 26 years)

"I can not live whitout it !!"
Version: ClipCache Pro 2.9
Summary
I use clipcache for 5 jears now [9x-me-xp] and i can't imagine an o.s without clipcache.
o.k the interface is a little bit old fasioned and sometimes it does not start up under xp in the systray, the hotkey helps.the program never let me down.
clipcache is like some opensource software,a bit difficult to learn, but when you try it a time, you like it. -
"Don't buy this product"
Version: ClipCache Pro 2.9
Summary
It have tried and registered this product. What I like about it is this clean cut interface. The thought behind this product is really good. The execution, however, is poor. I am running Windows XP Pro with LiteStep as shell. ClipCache Pro really hogged my system to an extend that made it impossible to keep it. It delays the startup of my system. It takes around 6 seconds to cache any clip and the same time it is takes to shift any clips you want to keep. If you want to stay out of trouble, DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT, I beg you! If you go to their website, you will see that there support is also a nightmare. I pity the guys who wrote this program: a (very) good idea, but what a poor execution!
