Let us be frank: Clip2Net is such a cool program that we we're confused that we'd never heard of it before. We can't believe that it's not widely used by our friends on Twitter and Facebook. We think it's only a matter of time before this program takes off, since how can you not love an application that lets you take a screenshot and post it to the Internet with virtually no effort?
Using Clip2Net is incredibly easy. When you're ready to take a screenshot, simply click the icon in the system tray. The mouse cursor will change to an arrow with a small square attached. Then simply drag a rectangle around whatever you want to take a screenshot of. When you release the mouse, the program automatically captures your selected area and opens an interface where the image can be edited; users can add text, arrows, and shapes, and can even draw on the image freehand. From there, users can either save the image to their computer or--and this is where the program really shines--upload it to the Clip2Net server. The program provides a short URL for the image, allowing easy sharing, and users can even choose how long the image remains on the server, from one day to "as long as possible." The program doesn't seem to have a Help file, but that's our only complaint, and it's a pretty minor one; Clip2Net is very intuitive. Overall, we were quite impressed with this application.
Clip2Net is free. It comes as a zip file but installs and uninstalls without issues. We highly recommend this program to all users.

Even SiteAdvisor has found an infected downloaded on Clip2net.com- http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/clip2net.comSummary
The main website of the makers of Clip2Net, which is http://www.atmatic.by/, has been untested by both Norton and McAfee, so I would question it, and the website for this particular piece of software, which is Clip2Net.com, contains infected material.
Take caution people. CNET made a mistake putting this software up. -

Before I download anything new I check it out first.
The website given hear on Download.com http://www.au78.com/ redirects to http://www.atmatic.by/, which appears to be in Russian but has a link to http://www.atmatic.eu/ which is in English.Summary
Both of the Atmatic links are gray in SiteAdvisor.
Once I found Clip2net.com it was yellow in SiteAdvisor so I checked out the site report

As you can see there is a red download on the site, it was 1237729345-keygen-232kb.exe (Backdoor-CEP trojan).
To sum up, I don't trust unknown sites that redirect elsewhere. Also having to find the correct website myself leaves me in doubt of their trustworthiness.
