CNET Editors' review
In theory, this application is supposed to give easy access to a user-customized list of frequently accessed folders. In reality, setup is a bit tricky and Chameleon Folder processed some requests so slowly in testing we thought the program had locked up.
The interface is pretty basic, and adding folders and menus is easy, but our testers had to visit the help file to better understand how to create submenus. In addition to the customized folder menu, Chameleon Folder displays simple listings of recently opened files and folders, but in our tests it took so long to clear these lists that it seemed that the program stopped working. You can call up the application with a hot key or by clicking the mouse wheel, and it works on the desktop, in Internet Explorer, and other places Windows Explorer can't go.
The idea is nice, but we think Chameleon Folder needs a bit of work. You'll have the standard 30-day trial to give it a try yourself.

From NeoSoft Tools:
With Chameleon Folder you can open frequently used and favorite folders in Windows Explorer, Open/Save dialog boxes, archive extract windows, and on the desktop. You can create your own Favorites menu containing submenus. Just click the middle mouse button (the button usually combined with the mouse wheel), and select the necessary folder in the menu to open it.
