Version: Case Studio 2 2.23.1
"Excellent value for price, does what I need for business"
Pros: For a very attractive price gives consistent database design and DB documentation functionality. I bought licenses for my complete team and actively promote use in other sister organizations:
Easy to use, detailed description can be recorded against all levels, excellent export features for model communication, to-do list management, version manager included, etc. By far enough for small to mid size projects.
Cons: Minor "flaws" when comparing to systems that cost 10+ times more, e.g.
* diagrams are not scalable for large models (though sub-model management and export basically addresses the issue)
* relationships cannot be positioned so can go through (behind) entities which decreses readability
* auto-routing and positioning of entities would be fantastic, yet this is hardly the case in these packages, more in circuit design ;-)
