From SCi :Pit your wits and wheels against 25 other demented maniacs over 36 racing circuits in 5 totally different environments, in your quest to become King of Carnage and Prince of the Pile-up! Pedestrians equal points in Carmageddon, which is more than just your average driving game. Not even farmyard animals are safe as you slam on your hand brake and spin into a cow-mincing frenzy. Destroy other contestants' vehicles on the track and win credits, depending on the extent of the damage inflicted. Exchange your credits for automatic damage repair, or for better and more deadly features. Alternatively, you can ""hard shoulder"" your opponent, leave your twisted smoldering wreck at the curb, and steal the other driver's vehicle--now that's part exchange with a difference!
