None - this has no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
- Installs unnecessary hardware which does nothing to improve performance.
- Once you run the diagnostic scan, you not only have to upgrade to the Pro version, but you have to PAY TO DO SO!
- Even after uninstalling, malware, adware, and popups still linger.
Don't be fooled by CNET's 5-star rating. This will not improve your performance, especially if you have an older Windows OS.
Even as I type this review, clicking in each individual box triggers a flurry of pop-ups.
I'd give this no stars if I could, but since you require some rating...0.5/5.
My family and I used Avast free virus protection for many years; it is great product that does what it supposed to do well. It would cost me a fortune to protect our entire PC's equipment if it wasn't for this free product for home. Thank you Avast Team.
For all the years I used free Avast antivirus protection for home PC's, I haven't seen or noticed anything bad about it. It's only getting better and better every year.
Excellent antivirus protection for your personal and business PC's.
Media Player/Torrent built in. Imports bookmarks and settings from other browsers easily. Tabs, form fill, password fill, spell check. All pretty nice and honestly, a much needed set of tools these days. VERY similar to Chrome, actually I believe it is based on/around the Chrome Browser.
Freezes. Lags. Freezes. Lags more. Did I mention it freezes? And EVERY time I start or restart my computer, a pop up tells me that Torch crashed, even after I have gone through all correct shut down processes and manually closed all browsers. Personally, I don't have time for a browser that operates on dial-up speed. Even after selecting the "Advanced" install, you still end up with unwanted programs and desktop icons..
Chrome Based with many extensions/addons. Far from reliable. Slow. VERY slow. Installs garbage programs even after you have told it NOT to.
. Installed on my computer and running for 3 years now
. No viruses since
. No other AV has this level of defense against malware
. So light, you'll forget it's actually there
. Autoupdates are a great plus
works faster on my flash drive than it does on my regular HDD
