From Publicsoft India:Multi-Layout Unicode Hindi typing tool allows you to type easily in Hindi in a variety of layouts including Phonetic (Type as you speak), Remington (Krutifonts), Inscript and Susha. Type in Unicode format in any Windows application like WordPad, Notepad, MS Word, etc. You can also send emails in Hindi using outlook express, or even web-based clients like GMail, YahooMail etc., and the receiver will be able to see the text in Hindi. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.

Version: Cafe Hindi Unicode Typing Tool 1
"Useless, Making fool of hindi user"
Pros: It types devanagri
Cons: I do not know what is this Publicsoft India company. By Public soft it looks like some open source group, but I could not get any reference of what it is.
But it is for sure they are making fool of janta(Public).
First, do you really need any software to type Hindi?

This place which gives you the complete thing, which this software claims to give.
There is no need to download anything, if you wish to use it offline just save this page on your computer as html file from your browser. May be this tool is from an individual and does not have any marketing backup, it is unknown.
After using café it looked as if it is using the same technology at some places, but Café Hindi does not match this tool in any form.

Hindi user is not demanding, what ever they get they are satisfied, so such softwares survive.
If you use xp you can type in hindi without anything.

Version: Cafe Hindi Unicode Typing Tool 1
Pros: You can write Hindi in almost all the application including wordpad, emails etc.
Cons: No manual with it. It must have a manual.
