CRM-Express Free Edition is a free high quality CRM program. CRM-Express can be used to manage your contacts and customers. Furthermore, the latest version now allows you to do email marketing. The program has a built-in email client. This means that you can send out newsletters, program updates, etc. to a list consisting of a section of your contacts. You can use up to 5 lists in the Free Edition. Unsubscribes and bounced emails can be managed by using the emails received. The email manager also allows you to send out email to a single person or a group. The program also has an address book, task manager, notes and email campaign manager. The address book allows you to manage contacts. All correspondence with a contact like notes, tasks, emails are connected to the contact. If you look-up a contact all this information is immediately available. The Free version never expires.

I downloaded this program a few months ago and it was buggy as hell. The latest version fixes all that..
It becomes even better. Their free version is now similar to the pro. Multi-user and the best part..free for personal/business.

This is my first experience with a contact manager. I assume the functions are similar to others. It pretty much does what you would expect it to do. However, it has some shortcomings.
Cons
When I saved templates with attachments and opened the template at a later time, the attachments were not there. This is a big inconvenience. Also, when I look at emails already sent, the attachments do not show up.
Summary
If you never make attachments to your email, you may be satisfied with this product. However, it is a huge inconvenience for me to add the attachments to a template every time I want to use it. I also need to be able to review emails that I sent someone to see which attachments I have already sent them.
These two problems make this software worth very little to me. I know that it's free. Hopefully, their other version doesn't have these problems. -

Hi,
I was looking for a free or open source CRM program for beginners that did not use a database. This is perfect. It is customizable so I can sort and export reports. It took me a while to find this program (a few hours).

CRM-Express Free edition is in fact 100% free.
The following applies to the software:
1. It does not expire
2. There are no nag screens
3. A user can use it for as long as he/she wants

t's not free. It's Trialware and misnamed in the listings. A bit of a conn seeing it terminates after 30 days.
