Publisher's description of COM Explorer
From 4Developers:COM Explorer helps developers and system administrators explore, manage, and fix ActiveX controls, EXE servers, and DLL servers. An Explorer-like GUI allows developers to browse registered COM objects and view information, such as CLSID, TypeLib, version information, and file information. Misbehaving objects, such as objects with missing files left as junk in the Registry, are clearly marked. A fully integrated Registry editor allows you to view and edit COM settings. COM Explorer is integrated into Windows Explorer, allowing you to quickly register, unregister, compare, and view COM controls using a pop-up menu.
Version 2.0 features a new user interface, the ability to register or unregister multiple COM controls with a single click, the ability to compare COM control versions across multiple remote computers, fixes for several bugs, and more.

Version: COM Explorer 2.0
Pros: it's a good program, and is easy to use
Cons: dispite my many failures to register my yvertr.dll, well you can't always get what you want, but these dll files are a pain anyway...I would like to see some sort of help menu added to it...even if it's just a general one :)

"Too much money for this features"
Summary: Easy to use and small in size, but it is too expensive for what it offfers. I'm using another tool called 'COM Up! 2.0' with more features to handle all activex issues on my system.

Version: COM Explorer 2.0
Summary: Very good program, but $150 is too much. Try Resource Tuner 1.81 instead, is cheaper and can handle even more ressource types.
