COM Explorer helps developers and system administrators explore, manage, and fix ActiveX controls, EXE servers, and DLL servers. An Explorer-like GUI allows developers to browse registered COM objects and view information, such as CLSID, TypeLib, version information, and file information. Misbehaving objects, such as objects with missing files left as junk in the Registry, are clearly marked. A fully integrated Registry editor allows you to view and edit COM settings. COM Explorer is integrated into Windows Explorer, allowing you to quickly register, unregister, compare, and view COM controls using a pop-up menu.
Version 2.0 features a new user interface, the ability to register or unregister multiple COM controls with a single click, the ability to compare COM control versions across multiple remote computers, fixes for several bugs, and more.
