The CMI8738 driver package is a driver for PCI cards based on the CMI8378 chipset. This driver is for Windows 2000 only, and requires a computer with a CMI8738-based audio card. C-Media does not provide end user support for drivers, so please contact your hardware manufacturer if you need further support.

Seems to provide excellent performance on my sound system. Thanks for this product.
Cons
On my AMD Athlon machine, which is a couple years old, every time I have to re-install Win2k I have to get this from MS Windows Update. It would help if clear instructions were given as to where to install this when I run the executable.
