"Was Surprised How Good"
Version: Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2010
Pros
All CRMs seem to sync with Outlook, but this one obviously excels with it's integration. The ability to customize (Business Contact) forms is a superior feature; better than the limited user defined field capability of some of the others. Project management tasks flow right to Outlook Task/To Do section making it much more likely I'll see my To Dos on a regular basis (every time I check email).
Cons
Would be nice to be able to start a Word document or Excel and save in BCM (you can create one, then link it to the contact).
Summary
Tried all including Maximizer (bought), ACT, Prophet (bought), Infoflo & others...after 6 months of trying to find a decent solution for myself was about ready for hari kari. They all use SQL Server (except Infoflo) and they all either crashed or drained the system (what ever happen to CRMs that used data files?). I have not had this problem with BCM, maybe it was designed better for SQL Server. As a one person office, it was most important to me to have something that #1 recorded and stored the history of everything including emails, meetings, phone calls, task, etc., #2 allowed me to keep track of what I have going on a daily basis and what I need to do. Tried an earlier version (2007) of BCM and wasn't impressed at the time, but it looks like this newer version will beat all others. It was shocking how inadequate all these CRMs are for an individual, it looks like BCM is the answer for me.

"Used up all my resources"
Version: Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2010
Pros
I quite liked the software. Where else can you get value like that. It does what it is supposed to do very nicely.
Cons
Constantly hung my system. Had to reboot so many times. Microsoft support spent two hours on the phone with me prentending to be doing stuff; asking me to unplug my hard drives, things like that. I told them there is nothing wrong with my hard drives. I asked them why it took them two hours to do what a local guy could do in 10 minutes, but without results.
Summary
Great idea but why on earth can't they come out with a software that doesn't grind your system to a halt is beyond me.
