Budget Calendar is a budget and payment planning application. All transactions are shown on a calendar (compare to the complicated ledger system used by some budget applications). Each payment can have a unique icon. Move a transaction to a different day to fit your needs. See where you are going to spend money in the future. Adjust the budget balance to match your actual balance.

"Basic yet powerful personal finance tracker and planner"

Pros
Calendar format provides quick visuals for future planning. Simple format is practical and useful for managing personal transactions.
Cons
If certain manual adjustments are made to the total balance, and then subsequent expenses are added, the total balance is not automatically adjusted to reflect the changes, but this is minor and easy to manually correct when such adjustments are made.
This isn't meant to be a tool for managing complex investments, so I don't consider its relative simplicity to be a con.Summary
I really love this product. It's super easy to enter income and expenses. You can designate income or expenses as recurring or one-time, add categories, and view cumulative activity in dollar and percentage amounts. Easily drag and drop payment dates on the calendar to see how available balances changes by the day...it's very useful to keep track of spending and stay on budget.

Summary
This product is exactly what I was looking for. I have certain predictable expenditures that come up each month, and I need to budget for these expenditures constantly. By typing in my spending patterns and my known bills and financial commitments I can look ahead at future months and see if I'll have enough money. I just need software to keep a running total of the cash that is scheduled to come in and the cash that is scheduled to leave and ensure that I'm "in the black". This software does that very well. It is basic, though, so if you want fancy options you might want to give this a pass. It's one step up from writing all your expenditures down on a calendar and doing calculations by hand.

Quick download, easy to see where your money goes
Cons
It can a little tricky when you add transactions but if you read the help files you will be okay. You can view your calendar for a 12 month period only. That sucks.
Summary
Extremely good program. I can see when I'll get paid, when my bills will be due, how much money I will have at a certain time and how much I will have saved up by a certain date. It is very well worth it. I used to get overdraft fees from my bank about every now and then because I wasn't sure how much money I had. Or I had to borrow to pay a bill here and a bill there because I spent too much during the weekend. Ever since I got this software I have savings of about 300 a month because every time I withdraw cash from my bank account I know my calendar budget is going to be off so I keep it to a minimum. I love it, it's affordable and easy to use.

This budget software is excellent. Nothing complicated about it, and it's very inexpensive. I purchased it before the trial even ended. The trial version doesn't limit the software's capabilites like many other product do. I love it!

Visually strong so it's easy to get a quick view of your monthly budget and it's easy to adjust budget to income. There is a good place for placing all of your monthly bills. The icons are easy to use. The overall emphasis is on simplicity.
Cons
The icons probably need to be modernised somewhat. The program price is relatively low and the features recognise this fact.
Summary
Overall this is a very good budget device with a satisfactory range of features for someone who wants to do a visually based budget, without being overly complicated. I had a need to communicate with the program designer, who was quick to respond and most efficient.

love the visual nature of the software. Like that it is not spreadsheet-like. Love the monthly forecasts and monthly detailed report.
Cons
dislike that you have to scroll left and right to see the entire month if transactions are made on a saturday and sunday

I do a bi monthly mortgage payment which i pay on the first friday and third friday of each month (2wk/3wk payments) Would be great to have a payment period option for payments that are based around the week day instead of day of the month.
