Bruce's Unusual Typing Wizard is well constructed typing tutor to learn and practice typing. It is designed to accommodate both beginners and experienced typists who are looking to gain speed or accuracy. This software also has a unique algorithm, which is able to detect if a user is typing slightly off and adjust the typing position. This eliminates frustration of typing many mistakes when a letter is omitted or added. A game is also included, in order to help practice unusual letter combinations. Multiple users are supported and each stores its own statistics. The user can change the text that is used to practice typing, in order to practice something more familiar, if that is desired. This feature can also be used to input a different language to practice. The onscreen keyboard and the game can also be modified to accommodate any Western language or keyboard layout.

Version 1.5 adds many minor enhancements to the interface.

Great way to learn and practice typing

Using the timer helps develop your typing speed. I worked on accuracy first, without the timer and then speed.
Cons
None that inhibit learning basic skills.

I love not just how easy this was to use but that you could go back if you needed to do another section again, or that you could go forward to the point of typing where you are already without having to go through the early stages.

I downleaded this program onto a flash drive and have already put it on 9 computers of friends that I know that wanted to learn to type. Most of them however didn't have internet access to be able to download it for themselves. This program lets you start in the typing testing at exactly the point of typing mastery that you are indivigually. Letting you save your own profile allows more than one user to use the program without interfering you own tutorial. There are games and regular lessons for learning the indivigual keys and I think that this is the best typing tutor ever created to ths point. I would be interested to see if someone else can come up with a program this fun and helpful. Let them try!

I tryed having it uninstalled but I had to go to a computer guy and payed him 20 dollars to have it removed!! I should have just went to walmart in the first place and had bought the typing software for 10 dollars it would have been less headaches
