This may sound cliche and all but after it restored my data (mostly pictures, diagrams and spreadsheets about 3 GB worth total) this product is truly worth the investment.
I noticed that the negative remarks are quite outdated. They shouldn't be here at all!
Also, based on the number of times this program has been downloaded, that should be enough basis for you to trust it fully. -

Update for Mac 10.4 is corrupt (doesn't want to install, so the program asks you if you want to download the update over and over and over.

To make this clear! I would like to say that I have tried to send Multi.. E-mails to this company and haven't heard a thing back (3 wks so far). It seems like it is one person doing the support.. DO NOT GET THIS PRODUCT LOOK INTO OTHERS>>> it is PURE BULLSH*T!
I am a military veteran... and have be in this game for 4 yrs so far.. techy but not too techy... Just beware if your looking into the PRO version... It's a BUNK company. I hope this helps at least one person. -

I teach a graphic arts class and in our classroom we have about 20 or so computers for the students to use.
With day in and day out use, it's only a matter of time before we have a hard drive go bad.
We try to keep regular backups, but me and the one other GA teacher can't keep up with it all the time.
When we lost files, we turn to Boomerang Data recovery to get our lost data back!
We've used it often throughout the years, and have not ONCE seen it fail to recover a missing piece of data.
It's easy to use, easy to install, and the unlimited license is a great deal, especially for power users like me.
If you need a data recovery solution for your mac, I would definitely recommend boomerang.

Boomerang is an answer to prayer. even 6 years ago, to get data back off of a bad or damaged hard drive you would've had to take it to a professional data recovery lab.
Now I can recover data from the comfort of my own home, and for a fraction of the cost!
what's even better, is you don't have to be a genius to use it! With it's simple interface design, recovering any type of data is as easy as 1,2,3. I've used it to recover everything from photos, to music, to financial documents, and more
If you lost some data, I'd definitely recommend Boomerang to get it back. It's given me more than my money's worth, and I'd use it again in a heartbeat. -

The product worked well enough the one time. The interface was easy to use. The raw file dump view was a bit odd but usable.
Cons
The company claims they are too small for phone support. Ok, I can believe that but then having gotten no response from their web support other than automated replies for a week that the email or web entry has been added to my ticket is ridiculous.
Summary
If your willing to roll the dice that it will work more than once, then I guess it might not be a bad deal. If your looking for a quality piece of software from a company that stands behind their product then DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Support is non existent. A week of patiently waiting and nothing. Opened the tickets through web support, have a ticket number but nothing. Sent email to support and it just gets added to the ticket and then nothing.
