It presents latitude, longitude, speed, direction, satellite date and time and hemisphere information in a tidy one-screen OpenGL driven GUI. Some nice translucent effects make it possible to display more information on one screen while remaining readable. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.

Version: Bluetooth GPS Tester for Win32 1.1
Pros: None at all, so far.
Cons: No how-to, no documentation, no Help, nothing whatsoever about getting it to work. Desperately needs it.
Summary: Bizarre. Requires cygwin (cygwin1.dll at least). With cygwin available, it does fire up and display a window on the screen (in 32-bit Vista Ultimate, running as a true Administrator with no UAC, at least). But, for me at least, it shows "Not Connect... read more >>
