"Reallyy don't understand all the bad reviews here"
Pros: Performs as advertised. I've had it for 3 years and have tried all the competition and the new Internet Security 2009 is as good as you'll find in a security suite. The strongest anti virus and all the other modules I use are flawless.
Cons: Nothing bad at all to say about it
Summary: I can't understand all the bad mouth reviews. Any security suite worth anything is going deep into your system and does use resources. BitDefender beats all the competition in my experience on all counts. It's improved yearly since I first started... read more >>

Version: BitDefender Internet Security 2009
Pros: There are no "pros" to this product.
Cons: Everything is wrong with this product. Does not work with Gmail, auto-update does not work. I think the product has a virus bc my computer has had numerous problems since installation. Customer service is a joke, they refused to give me a refund.
Summary: Software is terrible, company is terrible, what else can I say except, stay away!!! Don't buy it!!!

"The worst software I have ever used in my life"
Pros: Nothing! Well, that is not true. It is no longer on my system after 45 minutes of uninstall effort. That is the best thing this defective program has done for me.....it finally left! I wish zero stars was an option to choose.
Cons: Computer lock-ups every 5 minutes during web browsing, zero customer service, user unfriendly diagnostic tools, intensive troubleshooting guides that the user must administrate, frequent and random "unresponsive" status of program.
Summary: I bought this software because it was supposed to be 64 bit compatible. I bought my new computer and antivirus the same day and for 6 months I have been threatening to return my computer to Best Buy (where I bough the computer) when all the while i... read more >>

"A poorly designed and non-compatible program!"
Pros: It works well IF you can get it working
Cons: Slows down your existing operating system (Windows VISTA), causes your computer to freeze on a regular basis, prevents Windows updates to download properly, and it is difficult to delete BitDefender because your computer is not operating properly!
Summary: The program should not be sold to the public with so many problems and compatibility issues. BitDefender 2008 was a great program but BitDefender 2009 is a garbage program and don't waste your money!

Pros: Good scanning,Good firewall,Good protection
Cons: Will not remove malwares if they are in an achieve .Like if there is a rar file & u put something naughty in there it will tell you about it but will say that no action possible..
Summary: Good,not for machines having less than 1 gb of ram. Scanning takes a long time but it's fine..
