  "Not worth the Hassel"

  Pros: Easy to Download

  Cons: No way to Uninstall. DO NOT Install this Program. It takes over your system and you may need to Format your hard drive just to get rid of it.

  Summary: Aside from Previous cons this program can be too intrusive. I had to reinstall Windows XP Pro to get sound back and reinstall Internet Explorer. Still have Windows Update issues but don't like the idea of having to Frmat and reinstall XP Pro. DO NOT... read more >>

  "Can't delete it"

  Pros: Was somewhat OK finding music....but not a lot of FREE songs after you have it for a few weeks. The number of songs it finds, gets smaller.

  Cons: IMPOSSIBLE TO DELETE FROM MY COMPUTER....TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE....AND IT KEEPS TRYING TO SWITCH TO IT'S OWN BROSER. VERY ANNOYING. I WROTE TO CUSTOMER SUPPORT TWICE TO ASK HOW I REMOVE THE PROGRAM, BUT NEVER RECEIVED A REPLY. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.

  Summary: IT CAN'T BE DELETED....AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT IGNORES MY REQUESTS FOR HELP AS THEY DON'T WANT IT DELETED. JUST TERRIBLE SERVICE AND ALMOST LIKE A VIRUS.

  "Good no longer"

  Pros: Legal songs so no download police

  Cons: Last year there was plenty of "gold" songs to download. Now 80% of what's offered with the paid monthly subscription is just ringtones. What happened to all the Gold content?

  Summary: What's the point of paying for a subscription and then there is no significant inventory. I select download the entire CD from the media bar and then I look at the download and see 2 songs...what a rip. But used to be GREAT for finding darn near any... read more >>

  "browser plug-ins boo!"

  Pros: I was able to opt out of the ask.com plug-in.

  Cons: I was not asked if I could opt out of the other browser plug-in (add on).

  Summary: I never got to use bearshare because I like to be in strict control over what my computer has installed.

  "Best thing since iTunes...100% FREE and Legal"

  Pros: Free and Legal can you ask for more? Compatible with iTunes, downloads are FAST and FREE. Music Info is on the spot as well as the album artwork. Legal and no viruses so far. GREAT P2P software! Must have for anyone who loves FREE Music.

  Cons: Completion popups but nothing more than that.

  Summary: A must have and will be on the top downloads once CNET gets around to reviewing. Lots of popular music, and probably will add more as it becomes more popular. Bottom line 10/10 in my opinion!
