An easy-to-understand utility for animating GIF images, this program offers an extensive feature set yet still won't intimidate novices. After you launch the program, it prompts you to choose among options for creating an animation from scratch, following a wizard, or reading a step-by-step tutorial. Even if you've never animated a GIF, the latter explains how to do so in detail. The interface certainly isn't beautiful, but the program packs a formidable arsenal of editing tools. For instance, you can set frames, transparency, and the background color. Though its feature set leads us to believe it's aimed at professionals, Bannershop GIF Animator also is a good bet for first timers.

A great banner maker, with lots of unique features. Real easy to use, good interface and kool auto animation wizard. Great features to enhance fonts effect and images on banners. This is really one of the better banner makers out there.
Cons
Needs a bigger and better list of usable animation effects.

I have tried many animation softwares and Bannershop is no doubt no only the easiest to use but has the best effects and features. Anyone can create animations with this program. It's definately worth the money!

They have taken a very complex group of software abilities, and somehow, packaged them up in a VERY easy to use program. Bannershop, I find, does everything I want and more with extremely logical menus contructed for successful output for both the newbie and experienced web person alike. It costs much less than some top heavy and EXPENSIVE programs I have tried. Bannershop is all I need to create vast arrays of attractive gif animations! I had a couple of questions, and get this, my support emails were answere in an hour. I though it was a fluke, so I sent a couple more the next day. Different support rep, same quick response.
Cons
Nothing really that I don't like. Selteco has so many products that I have tried, it would be nice to see some of the applications tie directly into each other for a more seamless approach. Maybe they can work on that!

It's great to try . . . if you actually want to use the gifs you created, however, you have to pay $50. Which, IMHO, seems to defeat the whole free trial offered. I may be incorrect, but that is very similar to fraud.
