From Passcovery :Atomic RAR Password Recovery is a software designed to restore the password for the archives created by WinRAR. Due to the structure of the RAR-file, encryption in RAR is quite strong, so the password cannot be found instantly as it takes a lot of resources. The speed of the password search depends on the archive version. Password restoring procedure for RAR 2.xx archives is much faster then for the RAR 3.xx ones.

"has no use whatsoever in its trial run"
Pros: after its registration, its a semi usable piece of software
Cons: the trial version not only doesn't tell you what the password is but it also has a 3 digit password limit which download.com seems to have left out of the limitations list.
Summary: this product has its ups and downs, but it lacks the ability to prove itself in a trial run due to its 3 digit limit, which makes it useless since I've never seen a rar file with a password shorter than 5 digits. this lack of proof of functionality ... read more >>
