In spite of a few flaws, this adware-free screensaver's healthy feature set helps save the day. The program's 10 images of Athens, Greece run the gamut from outdoor scenes of ancient structures to indoor pictures of sculptures taken in a museum. While picture quality was mostly good, we did notice artifacts on several shots when they were resized to a full-screen view. Happily, we found this screensaver's MIDI music pleasant, and we appreciated the amount of user-customization options. For instance, Athens Greece Screen Saver lets you change the background color; choose from a number of transition effects; disable the audio; set the image interval; and change the color, font, and locations of the captions. All, told, this program makes a decent PC addition for history buffs and travel enthusiasts who don't mind the demo's rather meager helping of images.
