Aspose.Words is a word processing component that enables .NET applications to read, write and modify Word documents without using Microsoft Word. Other useful features include document creation, content and formatting manipulation, mail merge abilities, reporting features and support of DOCX, DOC, WordprocessingML, HTML, XHTML, TXT and PDF formats (requires Aspose.Pdf). It supports both 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems. You can even use Aspose.Words for .NET to build applications with Mono.
What's new in this version: Version 13.3 included improvements in style handing in Tables, Format Revisions and resiliency code for ODT, RTF and DOCX.

We have integrated Aspose.Word in our product and its fast, reliable, accurate and with Aspose's unique business model with direct access to developers ensures that all your issues are promptly replied and resolved.
Cons
Have not found yet, but itching to get my hands on some.

Introduction:
As a part of our parsing solution (RChilli Resume Parser) we need to convert documents (.DOC, .DOCX, .RTF, .ODT, .HTM, .HTML,.DOT), that includes a lots of formats, first into plain text file (.TXT) then into HTML file without loosing any of the formatting of the original document.
As we are searching for a good solution we thought of giving Aspose a shot. And it perfectly suited our needs.
Our needs:
Dealing with huge document formats:
Not only we are supposed to deal with a large no of formats but also different version of each versions also. Like in our initial development we faced many conversion issues like files created on previous version than Office 2003 is not supported or we were getting file is corrupted issue.
Normal documents are fine but the problem occurs when the documents have tabular form. When these documents are converting into text files they just mess up all the contents, and in HTML output most of the format is messy.
Dealing with massive volume of document conversion:
As we are supposed to convert large volumes of documents into TXT and HTML, we want it to be fast, reliable and accurate. We want to run multiple threads at the same time, to make the process less time consuming. If you are converting more than 10,000 documents a day you don't want them to take the whole day or you don't want the accuracy to be lower than 90% either. Otherwise there is no benefit in automation.

Till so far we have not got any conversion issue related to format not supported or the file is corrupted (unless the file is actually corrupted). And its fast, very fast, I love they way they have managed to achieve this in their product, its amazing!!!
When we have implemented our software with Aspose.Word, we were a little afraid that we will get a system hang issue once in a while, as we were converting a huge documents not only that we are also doing that in multiple threads, but touchwood that never happened. Our system administrator can have a good night sleep due to Aspose. Thank you Guys!

We have not used all of their products but we will surely recommend each of their products to anyone who is interested in automation and is dealing with these type of files. -

Summary
I needed to generate hundreds of PDF reports based on templates in Word format. I chose Aspose.Words for .NET because it allow to modify DOCX and convert them into PDF documents with a single library (don't be fooled by his name, Aspose.Words can convert documents in many formats).
My reports are generated in a matter of seconds without any other dependencies than Aspose. It's great, especially when you know that my software will run on a server. Obviously nobody want Microsoft Office on a server.
Finally unlike many PDF converter, the final PDF is perfectly like the original document.
