• Don't even bother

  What? I'm afraid there is nothing whatsoever good to say. Good, That's my more than 10 characters.:-)

  Cons

  Having bought this on-line, the email and activation code supplied by Arcsoft does not work. Arcsoft's response to support request was to provide a link to change my PASSWORD and not my ACTIVATION CODE. Ive got back to them but I've been told that a response can be expected in 2 to 4 days. In addition, when running the Media Converter in 15-day trial mode, running a video conversion to Galaxy S2, Galaxy Tab 10.1 or in Android locks up the software.This happens whatever format the input video is in.

  - doesn't support 5.1 audio output, making it pretty useless for most applications - only supports srt files for subtitles, so if you want to view subtitles on the output video, you have to download srt files and hope they are the right ones

  Summary

  There are a lot of very good free video converters out there, Handbrake and RipBot (which handles subtitles brilliantly). Its amazing you cant get any reasonably priced paid for videoconversion software, that does the basics

  Minimal improvement over previous versions. No uninstall feature on trial version or the previous versions.

  Decent program, the lack of an uninstall feature is a bummer. Trial has expired and I can't remove the program.

  It was easy to set up and use. I did not have to wonder at any time what the hype is about or am I ever going to get to use this thing. Excellent!

  I down loaded the Converter and the Video Downloader having already installed other Arcsoft products ( Showbiiz DVD 2 software & Arcsoft TotalMedia Extreme) they do not seem happy to be on the same computer ???

  transfer video iPhone doesn't through iTunes. one click to convert rip audio. one click download youtube video to iPhone.
