CNET Editors' review
Some of the best things about Windows 7 are the window-management tools under the Aero umbrella. Aero Snap, Aero Shake, and Aero Glass do nothing less than make Windows 7 competitive with Apple's Mac OS X Snow Leopard on the window management front. They pop visually, they're fun to use, and most importantly, they're useful ways of managing windows. But that doesn't mean you can't tweak them, and for people who want more out of their Aero, there's AquaSnap.
AquaSnap gives users fine-tuning control to change the Snap/Shake/Glass functionality, customize the Aqua features, toggle at will between Aero and Aqua, or disable them. Where Aero Snap makes windows resize as maximized or to half the width of the monitor, AquaSnap adds in quarter-screen sizes. There's also a custom option, and it's multimonitor compatible. For some odd reason, the Snap features required a reboot before they worked, when the Shake and Peek ones didn't.
AquaShake changes Aero Shake from minimizing all other windows to making them transparent. Users can toggle the transparency level and the shake sensitivity. AquaGlass actually doesn't change or improve on Aero Glass. Instead, it makes windows transparent when you drag them around the monitor. You can adjust the transparency here, too, but this is most useful when you click and hold on a window to quickly see what's beneath it. A useful but not killer feature.
AquaSnap is an excellent customization tool that works well and didn't add any noticeable drag to system resources. You can change whether it runs on start-up, and AquaSnap can also be used to port the Snap/Shake/Peek features to legacy Windows systems, where the program is likely to be most useful.

"Used to be good until version 1.6.1"
Version: AquaSnap 1.1.3
Pros
more options than windows 7 default docking
Cons
They took multi monitor support away from the free version. Do not upgrade to v 1.6.1 if you have dual monitors. Uninstalling this product today!

"Works but not exactly like you think."
Version: AquaSnap 1.5.2
Pros
Lots of settings and works good. Lots of effects too.

The glass feature just makes the window you are dragging transparent while doing so. It does not make menus and title bars transparent.

"Very useful"
Version: AquaSnap 1.4.0
Pros
Very good, for comparing things,I like the way things can be positioned as is your want,or need due to different sizes.Great for watching the Grand Prix with stats, and track positions from the F1 website,up aswell as the live action from the BBC
Cons
Sometimes things snap to half screen unexpectedly when positioning them,A minor quibble. And it is necessary to open several versions of the browser to get the pages one needs up sometimes, altho' that may be just me being inept.
Summary
Excellent little app,not only usefull but also great fun in cases such as ,watching the Grand Prix as sited earlier, saves much frustration clicking back and forth between pages and looks great on the monitor.Highly reccommended.

"Awesome tool to have without having Windows 7!"
Version: AquaSnap 1.4.0
Pros
Being able to snap individual windows, up to 4, on one screen is such a huge time saver! I can look at two or more windows simultaneously which is a huge plus when doing research. I can have the best feature of Windows 7 without having Windows 7!
Cons
I need a bigger screen now!!
Summary
Download this useful program and you will not be disappointed! Thank you to the developers for making it available to us without charge ... that is very much appreciated by someone who's income is limited! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
