  It's a WONDERFUL game if you're interested in the afterlife. Turn down the lights and crank the sound...especially once your head gear is acquired! Help 3 spirits "cross over" and save Roxy in the process. It doesn't get any better than this! The graphics are awesome and the sound effects are enough to make your hair stand on end.

  Cons

  It's stuck in 1996..will not run on Windows XP unfortunately. Yes, even tried the compatability wizard a hundred ways to sunday so for now this game is shelved, sad to say. Please Frank and Susan Wimmer...make us another! Or someone figure this one out for us Amber die hard...no pun intended...fans!

  This game makes you feel sorry for the ghosts. Everything is top notch and I have the full game.the demo can't begin to show the entertainment of this game. I also agree that there should be an Amber 2. Voices, sounds, graphics, playability, puzzles not too hard. highly recommend this. 2 thumbs up! play it in a darkened room it has the great feeling that without bloody gore it still gives you the chills.

  I was truly intruiged by the three perfectly engrossingly mysterious realms. Are you are afraid of things that go bump in the night? If you aren't now, you will be after you play this game. I do recomend this game to 13 year olds and up. This game deals with realms that seem real. At a time in the game, I started to cry because of the sadness in that particular realm. The game has stories of mistaken deaths, insanity and a screwy gardener, and the horrid loss of a loved one, leading to a suicidal end. The pure haunting elegance of this game will keep you on the edge of your seat. Literally. Death is not the End.

  Amber was a grat retreat from reality. I looked forward to solving the complex yet fair puzzles when I got home at night. Point and click games are easily learned and fun to play. If your looking for a game that gives you mystery, suspense and brain teasing qualities- this is it!! Can't wait for part 2!!

  I would have liked to play the game. I bought the cd, and have all the requirements, however it still won't work. I wrote to the company and they won't respond. I then tried to download the demo, and it says Xlib not found. I don't recommend downloading this. I just waited an hour for nothing.

  Amber is an awesome game! The gore is minimal, but the scares and suspense are maximum! Don't play it at night with the lights out! Be sure to watch tv in Roxy's bedroom.......
