From Mythicsoft :Agent Ransack is a freeware professional file-search utility for finding information on your hard drive quickly and efficiently. Agent Ransack provides many features, such as regular expressions that allow complex, rule-based searches; immediate contents results view; and various wizards to walk the user through the search process. Users familiar with the Unix grep command will appreciate the ability to search the contents of files using regular expressions, as well as the ability to view found contents without having to open the files.
Version 1.7 features several bug fixes.

"All I remember is I deleted it with in a few minites"
Pros: Deleted it
Cons: It wasn't a confortable download for me.
Summary: Forgive me for not giving more info, all I remember is I didn't like it and deleted it.

Pros: IT WORKS quickly, well, and without a lot of fanfare.
Cons: Nothing. It works, unlike Vista search which would not ind text inside files regardless of what I did including making sure that the file types were selected in their lists.
Summary: IT WORKS, IT WORKS. Yes, I am very happy.

Cons: Too cheap to be true, but can't see anything in their Pro version that I need.

Pros: VERY fast! Supports regular expressions in both file name and "containing text". Full right-click menu support in found list. Preview found text. History dropdowns for filename, directory, text. Export results. Easy to use. FREE!
Cons: Nothing!!!
Summary: Agent Ransack is my tool of choice for find files by name or content. I install it on every server I maintain. It is absolutely invaluable! Very fast and flexible, with full regular expression support.
