Unlike some detective games, Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: Secret of the Silver Earring really rewards attention to detail. Is that a smudge on the door frame? You'd better examine it. Because the demo limits only the locations you visit, not total playing time, you can explore thoroughly. You can even save and load games. We appreciate the excellent notebook, which records all dialogue with the houseguests as you investigate the shooting death of a wealthy industrialist. Characters who are in the room, but out of sight, generally alert you to their presence by coughing or sobbing or sweeping.
The long installation pays off with detailed graphics and excellent voice work. In fact, the only graphical weak spot is poor lip-syncing. You can access (or hide) your collection of clues and tools through a right click. Navigating becomes tricky at points, notably in the bathroom of the manor house. The demo of Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: Secret of the Silver Earring provides hours of detection for mystery and adventure fans.

From Ubi Soft :Secret of the Silver Earring is a mystery adventure game in which you play as the famous detective Sherlock Holmes. During the game you can also choose to play as his assistant, Dr. Watson. The game features five levels with 40 locations from 19th century London, 20 movies that develop the story, hours of investigating and solving mind-bending mysteries, and a completely original story written by a true Sherlock Holmes fan.
In this demo, you can play as both Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson while exploring ten of the locations from the game. The demo allows you to play as both Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, taking them to ten different locations as well as including ten minutes of movies to go along with the three hours of gameplay.

Cons: wont let me uninstall, if you ask it to uninstall then nothing .............. :( tryed everything windows add and remove, mcafee quickclean and manually doing it!!!! i would restore it but i only just set up my pc. so thanks alot
