Used Abdio PDF Reader for Windows?
Editors’ Review
Abdio PDF Reader provides a way to quickly and easily view PDF files. With a simple setup that allows users to instantly feel comfortable, this program is sure to compete with more established programs.
Thanks to our prior experience with Adobe's PDF-reading programs we jumped right into this program, since its interface felt similar and just as logical. All the command options were laid out just the same as with Adobe, thus we felt like we'd been using this program for years. Like Adobe's reader, we opened our PDF and were able to flip through the pages and see our document clearly and read it easily. For a closer look, we utilized the program's zooming ability, which left our images slightly fuzzed, but the text was still legible. The program didn't offer us any special features that would have set it apart from Adobe, which was disappointing. Something like a file-type converter would have made it incredibly special. Instead, the program simply did a good job of copying Adobe's reader, but didn't try hard to differentiate itself.
Abdio PDF Reader is a freeware program. It installed desktop icons without asking permission. We recommend this program to anyone who needs to read PDFs.
