Version: AVS Video Editor 4.2.1.166
"Can play all movie filetypes"
Pros: Easy to use, can be used with no soundcard. The trial has no time limit, there more examples of the colours and animations in the text. Can play all the video files including 3GPs, 3G2s, FLVs and such. Very iMovie-like.
Cons: The watermark banner is showing on the centre of each video and won't be removed until 1 minute. Needs speedup- and slowdown-effects. Can NOT activate/register the video editor for free. Lower price please!!!

Version: AVS Video Editor 4.2.1.166
"Like the features, only problem is the watermark"
Pros: Easy to use
Nice featuresCons: Slow movie publishing time
Watermark (since I don't have a job and probably won't have one for a while I use this program for free, and watermarks are left on the videos if you use this program for free)Summary: Other than the watermark and slow movie publishing time, no complaints. I really like the features of this program. It's very similar to Windows Movie Maker, but the AVS Video Editor has more features.

Version: AVS Video Editor 4.2.1.166
Pros: As a newcomer to video editing this was the first program I've found which enabled not only to make a film with minutes, but also to specify the file type as part of the process. Very intuitive.
Cons: Pricey at $59.99
NOT $39.99!!Summary: More experienced users might find better vaklue for their money, but for me it's as near perfect as I am going to get at present.
