ATP DVD Artist is a slick all-in-one solution to turning collections of MOV, AVI, FLV, MPEG-1/2/4, DivX, Xvid, H.264 video clips and JPG photos into DVDs, which can be played on home DVD players. "Easy to Use but Limited Capabilities"

Pros
Generous trial terms, does not convert only part of video or insert ads like others. Super easy to use.
Cons
Limited capabilities such as video formats, no editing, and DVD burn options.
Summary
I tried to created a DVD from a half dozen video files but had to use an external program to convert some of them. It was easy to enter the files and create a very basic menu with chapters, which can have multiple files. When I tried to burn DVDs I got repeated write errors, and the error messages were not helpful. Fortunately there is an option to create DVD files only so you can use an external burner. I was able to use Imgburn to successfully burn the files. It turns out that Imgburn needed to run several power calibrations on my burner, probably because the laser was weak or dirty.
This is an easy to use program, great for beginners but for me it's not worth the $25 with its limited capabilities when there are much more sophisticated programs for the price. I do applaud the sellers for offering a great trial program. -
"Average DVD Burner"

Burns media files to playable DVDs.
Cons
Only burns 4.7 Gig dvds. Tells you when a DVD-DL is required but does not recognize when such a disk is used. Tech support, only by email, says burning is by a 3rd party component and uses only 4.7 G disks. Nothing so stated in help during trial.
Summary
Not worth the money. Free apps work better.

"Ideal DVD Burning Software For No-Nonsense People"

Very smooth and stable. The burn jobs are all good and play even in cheap old TV DVD machines.

I like this DVD burner better than any other I've used over the past 10 years because it's simply and does the job right every time.
Personally I do all my fancy work in my movie editor. All I want from a DVD burner is a copy that looks great and plays well on any TV DVD player.
I have a Dell Inspiron 530S (Vista) and this is the 1st true TV DVD burning software I've ever owned that is rock solid stable. I just through my copy of Nero away. -
