Publisher's description of A-Z Typing Test
A-Z Typing Test is a professionally written software package designed to monitor your performance as a typist it reports on your speed wpm (words per minute), kph (keystrokes per hour) and accuracy (as a percentage of text typed). This record is stored under your individual profile and can be reviewed at any time in the future. The result of each test is stored individually and is used in conjunction with your other typing test results to give you a running average of your keyboarding performance. The option to receive a certificate quoting the typing speed and accuracy of a particular test is available.
There are a number of tests to choose from, each graded in level of difficulty, giving individual challenges. Other features include: Customizing colors on the typing window. Password protecting profiles. Administrator functions include: Creation/deletion/maintenance of user profiles and creation/deletion/maintenance of typing test texts.

Version: A-Z Typing Test 1.1
Pros: The program is small compact but well featured for people who already type. There are 5 levels of difficulty with 4 or 5 tests in each level. Great for brushing up with.
Cons: No drills or feedback for practising certain areas of typing not up to scratch.

"It's just what I was looking for!"
Pros: It is simple to use and understand. It gives you scores on your speed, wpm, and your accuracy. Everything you'll need to build or in my case re-build your high-speed keyboarding status.

Version: A-Z Typing Test 1.1
Pros: Unique user panel for typing over text.
Very flexible, multiuser application providing historical information to look at your progress. I like their certificate also.
Cons: UI could be doing with some modernisation.

Pros: For a free download, very hard to beat, I like the fact that it lets you see progress immediately and that it words per minute and keystroke count! Plus as a bonus you can print out yourself a certificate of accomplishment, again, great little tutor!
Cons: Haven't found one yet!
