3DWorlds offers to let users live in a fictional world where they walk around and interact with others just like the real world. With a simple design and fun options, this is an exciting getaway for nearly all users.

This program's interface is surprisingly simple, considering its wide-open play style. Control buttons are clearly labeled and users are constantly given tips via the chat screen. Even those unfamiliar with role-playing software should feel a certain comfort level after only a few minutes of toying with the program. In addition, the Help Desk is always open and offers several tutorials. Navigating the game and interacting will certainly take some getting used to, but it is worth the effort. Users are free to walk around the digital village, pop into shops offering everything from goods and services to games, and chat with other users they encounter. Working our way through the world took some practice, but we soon found ourselves interacting and chatting easily enough.

The program offers users several ways to customize their experience, from your character's appearance, to what tone they speak with and even things like the visibility. Most users will not need to toy with these features, but offer nearly limitless opportunities for experienced users. With a simple interface and fun functions, this freeware program is worth the trial and error needed to get the hang of it and will prove to be hours of virtual reality fun.
