Water gradually fills the desktop from the bottom as though a plug has been opened. Fish move in a seemingly random and endless variety of directions, including peeking through the top surface of the water. My favorite fish is the seahorse (which displays in three different color patterns). You can choose not to have sounds.

The fish look very real, and what's on your desktop stays visible in back. The screen seems to 'fill' with water and has sounds and light reflections. I used a picture of a coral reef for the desktop picture, and it's a beautiful,watery effect.

I think this is one of the most underrated products I've seen. The fish turn and swim towards and away from you very realistically. You can add all kinds of fish for free, also. It's absolutely hypnotic and for $12, it will have many aquarium fans thinking twice next time an expensive marine fish dies and gets a $$$ swirly.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />When I downloaded the demo I found the annoying ad page a bit too annoying and almost trashed it but then I just left it for a while and realized how good it really is so I paid for the full version. This is the best aquarium screensaver I have ever seen. It really is very good. Just one request/suggestion. How about separating the water sound from the hum sound? The water sound is pleasant and relaxing while the hum can get annoying.

I really like the water effects on the screen. I really like that there is more simulated 'depth' than SereneScreen (fish actually recede to the back and return to the front of the 'aquarium'.). I like the use of the monitor screen as the background too (works with Dashboard too.) I would agree that the fish are not quite as realistic ('specially that yellow one.) as SereneScreen, but they are likely to improve, and apparently there are more on their website. We will see.
