After I installed this, a new search toolbar shows up in all my browsers. I immediately uninstalled xmlpad. But the search toolbar is still there. To remove, go to program and features in control panel and remove "default search". I wonder if anything else is installed without notice. xmlpad is still in the program and features list and is broken. Uninstalling it results in an error and it cannot be removed from the list.

Finally a tool that allows you easily locate your position in a lengthy document. No other tool I tried has this feature.
Cons
Had some trouble getting the document format to display in "browser view", but the Format Document control on the toolbar corrected it. This may have been user error.

Intuitive interface, fast, good tag completion, excellent formatter, doesn't have annoying splash screen like some free products.
Cons
Two things would be nice to have: 1) ability to validate against a schema and 2) ability to add/delete nodes in grid mode.

Converted ampersand entity into an ampersand character in the source making the XML invalid with no readily apparent option to disable whatever caused that; Find/Replace function primitive and unintuitive
