This highly useful Internet Explorer image-capture add-on is only marred by a poor default Search function. WebCollect Toolbar's suite of functions is easily identified through icons and tool tips. This application adds functions that should be present in every browser. You can easily capture a screenshot with one click. Then WebCollect opens to allow you to easily resize, draw on, e-mail, or print your capture. However, during testing we couldn't get the Autosave function to work.

One feature we've rarely seen is a single-click capture of an entire scrolling Web page. This utility captures the full page, even the part not visible on your monitor, and then opens it for easy image editing. We also liked the easy lasso method to capture irregular areas. A quick screen magnifier and a handy color picker don't feel "tacked on" to this toolbar. We can't say the same for the pretty useless default Search function. Luckily, it is easy to force the Search box to use a number of common, and accurate, search engines. Novice to advanced users will find the tools of this IE freeware add-on valuable and easily accessible.

Easily capture web whole web pages or portions for emails, reports, etc. Great tool!

Not FireFox compatible
Summary
As a professional services consultant, I am constantly communicating with customers and providing screenshots for training, consultation, and project management issues. WebCollect allows me to quickly clarify questions and problems by grabbing portions of their web based application. I am trying to migrate my browser from IE to Firefox...I am disappointed that they do not have a compatible toolbar that can be loaded to this browser.

Very easy to use. You can capture any part or the whole webpage with just a few clicks. I like it very much.

- Just very minor.... The "Save As" button cannot remember your last file format selection (e.g. PDF). Everytime the file format is pre-selected as "JPEG".

1) Free! 2) Makes my routine task of taking website screen captures a breeze.

1) Didn't need the search/other features. <p>2) I found this disabled the 'Open in new tab' option you get when you right-click on a link in IE7 on XP SP2.

This is a great piece of kit it does exactly what it says on the tin, so easy to use, i've been looking around for something like this for a long time to save a screenshot of web pages and to archive web emails, i've tried several others but they don't come up to anything like this, i would say if you are looking for a program like this as i have for such a long time then get it now.

Hands down the best web image capture utility I've used. Allows you to capture an entire webpage (even below the fold), any rectangular area, and the RGB numbers of any color on a webpage - all through easy-to-access buttons added to the browser. I highly recommend this to anyone.

I'd like to see support for Firefox.

Pros
I used to use Snagit, which I paid a almost $40 for....now all I use to capture screenshots or images on webpages is this toolbar. I use it to cut out snippets from articles to send to friends, capture images for presentations, and show my friends cool web designs I like. I highly recommend it!!!!
