Virtual Print Engine is a tool for Windows software developers. It allows you to dynamically generate display and printer output by calling functions during the application runtime. It's as easy as using a DOS screen, while offering you the full power of Windows. It has 21 barcode types, all common image file types, free scalable vector graphics, preview function, DLLs, OCXs, and VCLs. The free positioning of graphical objects (i.e. text, images, lines, etc.) by code offers unlimited layout options. Using VPE you can create both: reports and lists as well as complex documents and forms.
VPE is available in different editions Community, Standard, Enhanced, and Professional. The editions differ in price and functionality. Each edition is fully downwards compatible, that is all features and functions of the Standard Edition are also included in the Enhanced Edition, and so forth. The main common features are unlimited number of pages, Smart Paging, Dynamic Layout, Virtual Processing, and Extended MAPI Support.
