Apple Watch and Nest Learning Thermostat. Together in perfect harmony. Thermo Watch offers the quickest, most intuitive way of controlling your Nest Thermostat: From the watch face, tap on the Thermo Watch complication to open the app. Spin the Digital Crown, or Swipe up/down to adjust the temperature. You can start adjusting the moment the app opens. From your iOS device, pull down the notification center, and adjust the temperature on the Widget. Again, you can start adjusting the moment the Widget appears. Digital Crown behavior is carefully tuned for this purpose, so you won't be overshooting the desired temperature. The watch will let you know with a chime and a tap, that the thermostat has received and applied your command. At home or outside - control from anywhere you have the internet access. Monitor your Thermostats and Home/Away status right from the watch face, using complications that update in the background, without having to launch the app. The app supports multiple thermostats in multiple homes - just swipe left and right on your Watch screen to access them, or see them all at the same time on the iOS Widget. Fahrenheit and Celsius are both supported, with the correct half-degree setting for Celsius. Beyond that, you can press the Watch screen firmly for additional functions, like switching to a heating or cooling mode, setting the away status, or turning the fan on and off. On your Watch, you can use your voice to control the temperature. Just tap on the Voice Input button and say "74". Or if you're in the mood for it, say "Computer, set the temperature to 74 degrees, I'm freezing." That'll work too. While the app's minimalist looks betray the simplicity of its operation, what they don't show is the amount of planning, design, development and refinement that went into it, ensuring it becomes something that is enjoyable to use and experience. The goal was to make a product that would feel like it truly belongs to the Nest ecosystem, and that would not look out of place next to one of the apps bundled with the Apple Watch. A tall order, but in the end, delivered - the app has been thoroughly reviewed by Nest Labs, and approved for their Works With Nest partner program. Your login information, thermostat settings, and any activity - all of it flows exclusively between your watch, your thermostat, and Nest Labs.
