Logging procedures and academic training is easy, efficient and reflects the needs of current surgical training programs.We have been busy at work over the past year extensively upgrading, enhancing and incorporating user feedback into our new Version Version 3 of surgilog.Improvements include: -Introduction of summary statistics for your procedures and logs ie how many procedures you perform, what your common procedures are, who you perform procedures with and much more-Introduction of surgical technique and approach fields which are specific to individual specialities ie for General Surgery know how many laparotomies, rooftop, laparoscopic procedures etc you have done-Ability to export individual procedure notes as a PDF for printing/filing-Email entire logbook as an excel file or just email procedures that you have selected though specific search queries.-Enhanced syncing of procedures to the surgilog cloud-Improved handling of images-You can now access all of your synced logs through the app and edit them-Advanced search capability to really probe your surgical experience and pose research questions-Introduction of academic activity logging to reflect the needs of current training portfolios and CPD requirements-Many more modifications/improvementsWe are confident that you will find surgilog an invaluable tool and we are always keen to hear back from you on your experience.
