About the characters Sock is the younger and more mischievous of the pair. He is a playful and very emotional little guy. He is quick to look for fun but often finds trouble instead. Its not uncommon to see him shed a tear or two when things get tough. His pal Boots always seems to be there to make him feel better and get him out of trouble. The smartest little Boot youll ever get to know. Hes a little wiser than his younger friend Sock which makes them fit so well together. Hes all for fun but manages to keep a level head. Sock n Boots Adventures: National Reading Month

Definitely creates an interactive environment for me and my son to read together. I didn't realize that just 20 minutes of reading a day can lead to a lifelong habit of reading. With the "Write My Own Story" feature (for iPad only), parents and children have another way to enjoy quality time while creating their own versions of the stories. They can save their own Sock and Boots Adventures story and record themselves reading together. Sock n Boots stories may be read via book, digital download or by an interactive iPad/iPod/iPhone/Android application not only across America, but also to countries worldwide. The company has had the stories translated into seven languages to help make its goal a reality: including Brazilian- Portuguese, Mandarin -Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Italian, French, and Arabic. This wonderful rhyming storybook has been made available to parents and families online at no charge in honor of National Reading Month, March 2012.

Could use off-line character support so that child recognizes both Sock n Boots.
