  This program is very good. I use it to edit pdf documents and its easy to use. For the noob it will be a slight learning curve til you get it right but once you get the hang of it its an excellent piece of software

  Pros

  - $19.95 for a lifetime license. (If you have trouble with activating "too many computers" - just contact PDFill service and they'll reset the counter for you.) - I like the free tools it comes with to merge PDF documents. I use this the most. - It's a generally user-friendly interface.

  Cons

  - It takes a little time to get used to it. I don't use it all that much, but I've had the software license going on 9 years and it's done what i've needed it to do.

  Summary

  Get it. Keep it. Use it.

  - Very useful and easy to use. - The free version is...FREE

  Cons

  Cons on the new version 14.0: Will not recognize the pdf files that I copy pasted from Kyocera scans folder. Solution: - Save the scans file as pdf file instead of copy paste the file (I found this solution later on). - Use older version (I went back and use ver. 9) of this pdfill.

  Summary

  If you are using the older version and have the same problem, just install and reinstall the older version and the problem would be solved.

• A Great PDF Editor...and a Bargain Price Tag

  Pros

  Very comprehensive set of tools and features is included. I have been using PDFill for about a year and I have found it able to do everything I've needed to do. I've used many of the features, but I know there are quite a few capabilities in the program that I will probably never use. Recently I wanted to make editorial annotations on a PDF document published in a manufacturer's literature. I encircled portions of the document with rectangles. I chose to round the corners of the rectangles, and use different colors and line styles for appearance and clarity. I then tried to do the same with another editing program I previously used (a more expensive software). The other software was unable to round the corners of rectangles. That may seem a small feature, but it is typical of some of the "small details" that I have found in PDFill which make it the best PDF editing software I have used. And such small and big features of this product is why I highly recommend PDFill.

  Cons

  - The issue mentioned in other posts - that you must deactivate the registration of the installation (from within the software itself) before updating (or uninstalling) - caused me a problem as it did to other users. I understand that issue has been corrected on the most recent version. - The only other "con" for me is that some of the features are not always easy to find. I've had to email Support for help on a couple of occasions. I've always received a response, and so far I've been able to perform every task I've asked about.

  Summary

  I know the deactivation issue has been a serious problem for some users. It was an annoyance to me too, but it was not a deal-breaker. PDFill simply has too many great features, at the best price I've seen for any PDF editing software, to let one "con" stop me from using and recommending it. And even that issue may be history now. But to make sure it does not create a problem, I will remember to deactivate my registration (from within the software) before I update or uninstall it for any reason. Overall, as I said previously, PDFill is a great program and it has a very reasonable price tag.

• A very useful program suite

  Pros

  This is a very useful and inexpensive suite of programs that allow you to edit and manipulate Acrobat (pdf) FILES. It is excellent for completing forms that are in pdf format and for adding or amending drawings or documents although you cannot make the original forms fields editable in forms that are downloaded in pdf format (at least I couldn't) There may be limitations compared tot he full professional version of Acrobat but for me I have not found anything other than editing original fields in forms that I want to do that this program won't do. I have found it very useful for a wide variety of tasks that i could not have done otherwise. The free tools are also useful in being able to convert images inot pdf files which can then be edited or annotated in the Editor program or for scanning directly inot pdf format without having to convert the files from jpeg afterwards. I have always found support to be helpful and reasonably quick to respond.

  Cons

  It is irritating that you have to uninstall the previous version before you can upgrade to the newer ones, this makes installing upgrades rather cumbersome although it does work. The latest version has a small inconsistency between the method for opening files via the "open file" icon and the "File" menu. Existing pdf files can only be opened from the "File " menu and not from the icon as with older versions (before 9 I think). This is only a minor problem as once it is spotted it is straightforward to overcome. I haven't found any other problems over several years using PDFill and I would not want to be without it now.

  A useful and inexpensive set of programs for editing and annotating Acrobat (pdf) files.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Sep 19, 2017<p/>I forgot to add that you can "edit" fields on a downloaded form by overlaying a Whiteout over the part you want to edit and then overwriting the new words or drawing over the whiteout. This works well and overcomes the problem which I assume is due to eh original fields being locked by the originator.

• Pdfill's maker Plotsoft very anti-customer, don't buy

  - Mediocre attempt at an Adobe wannabe - Functions ok sometimes but, inconsistently

  Cons

  - Misleading marketing - market it as being a "lifetime" copy with "unlimited" updates but, ignore you if install onto a replacement computer or hard drive and fail to be able to or remember to deactivate a copy on the old computer or hard drive; so by saying something is "lifetime" &#38; yet you're screwed if you don't remember out of all of your programs or if your hard drive fails, you've lost money forever - Any Pros with this software are irrelevant since if you have a software crash or forget to "deactivate" your license, they no longer will either replace your license or reactivate it on the server side - Plotsoft has practically non-existent customer support, email only at best - Plotsoft will hide behind their "terms of service" in order to avoid helping you

  Summary

  I DO NOT recommend this software. There are better alternatives with companies that stand by their products. This is a drab looking and erratically functioning overpriced software. No matter how good or seemingly well priced software is, a greedy, lazy, and unscrupulousness of this company makes this a total FAIL. It's worth spending the extra money for Adobe or trying a better alternative. One may be able to own the product for years and then have a problem. What is their solution to your computer crash and need a new copy? Just buy another copy and shut up.

  Nothing ''PRO'' about the Plotsoft company

  I bought a lifetime PDFill software from PLOTSoft L.L.C 11 years ago. In february 2017, I had problems with my computer. I bought a new one. Plotsoft refuse to reactivate my license of roboform: they say that I have only one license (for one computer), but that I have TWO computers. I don't have 2 computers, I only have one (the other is scrap and doesn't work) and I bought a new one in february to replace the defective one. I paid ''a lifetime license but they refuse to activate my new one computer'' !!!!

  This DOES NOT GIVE a free trial. It gives a crippled version that puts a WATERMARK on your documents. Because of that MISREPRESENTATION, I did NOT bother finishing the installation.

• Excellent PDF Editor

  Pros

  This editor is packed with features that you any other editor would cost hundreds of dollars. I can edit the PDF as right in the editor, or I created an editable PDF form such as an application.

  Cons

  There are no cons. Period

  Summary

  I've been using PDF Fill for about five, six or more years and I am extremely happy with it. Ignore the negative comments, I have never had any issues with the product. As a matter of fact, I had recently upgraded to the latest version and discovered that I could no longer drag and drop a PDF into the editor for editing. I opened a case with the developer, and the issue was resolved the very next day. I really appreciate the quick response and quick resolution. I highly recommend this product. I rarely ever give a 5, but this product has earned it.
