Goals: iOCW aims: To extend the reach of OCW content to mobile platforms and computer-internet limited environments; To improve user experience with OCW materials by introducing intuitive and smart functionalities; To create a social network for OCW users in order to stimulate effective and active learning. Mobile platforms (phones, PDAs and tablet PCs) have some known limitations such as screen size, Internet speed and incompatible software. iOCW is designed to operate efficiently in a wide spectrum of screen resolutions, ranging from smart phones to desktop sized LCD screens. iOCW is introducing unique functions, animated screen transitions and fast browsing by reduced data transfer. Intuitive interface improves the user experience with OCW content.
