The Site Interators Hadoop SSIS Tasks allow SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) package developers to integrate with the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) and Oozie. It supports all HDFS user operations including reading files, writing to files, making directories, changing permissions and renaming. It permits SSIS clients to access Hadoop without installing Hadoop client configuration.

To use Site Integrators Hadoop SSIS Tasks Alpha version you need:

64-bit (x64) platforms: Computer with a CPU that is compatible with the AMD64 and Extended Memory 64-bit Technology (EMT64T), 1.7 GHz or faster processor

8 GB of RAM minimum (more recommended)

10 GB of available hard-disk space

SQL Server 2012
