FRAMINGHAM calculator allows the 10-year coronary risk assessment, separately for men and women, and refers to the endpoint defined as coronary death or myocardial infarction. Overall score takes into account the various factors of cardiovascular risk, which are age, systolic blood pressure, HDL cholesterol, total cholesterol, diabetes and smoking. For moderate risk of death or heart attack in the next 10 years is considered to range from 9-19%, above this value starts while the category of high risk of death or heart attack in the next 10 years.
