Did not slow my PC down and the firewall stopped a few unwanted adware/viruses getting through

I thought I was safe with this product as it blocked a few things with its firewall but only detected 1 item in its daily virus scan in a month, so I thought all was good until I noticed my PC slow down and acting strange so I uninstalled it and tried Avast. It scanned and found the SweetOrange which is a very risky virus. Avast had to reboot my PC and remove The Compression Bomb , lucky before it opened and wrecked my PC altogether. Thanks a lot Eset! Never again.

* Extreme effective again detection * Updates easy and not complex * Have lot of option to custom secure * Even turn off if detect threat a box warning appear * Not so heavy like 6 even eay almost 99mb of ram * support are good * Love information well organizade in site like encyclopaedia and maps virus.
Cons
* Annoying all time the game mode are disable in games you dont wish. * Complex and not so easy like other anti-virus to create a cd/pen-boot rescue. * Not much promos
Summary
In fact for me is tha best pay anti virus you can have, if not use the avira! Very security and have lot of options u can free configure, so if you wish buy anti virus this is one you don't regret buy it!

A little complicated setting up exceptions but eset customer service is good.
Summary
I don't know what the 1 star rater's problem was. I have never had any problem updating Eset Nod32. I had a problem with a virus that none of the free antivirus programs,Macafee or Norton could fix. Eset fixed it.
downloading suck. locked me out of the web.

what pros? works against user.
Cons
First the download sucks. It damaged the older version. Messed with my Internet connection so I could not get on line. Then I had to uninstall it. Once I was able to get the newer one installed it locked me out of all my web sites. I try to find help on the Eset page but navigating that mess just made me madder.
Summary
Don't fix it if it's not broken. Adding bells and buzzers just makes this not work. The older one worked just like it should and never left me crazy.
