Dream Challenge is the ultimate distance challenge app for iPhone. Designed to motivate people to walk, run, bike or ski the Dream Challenge app allows you to challenge friends on virtual routes anywhere in the world. Using GPS technique and map functionalities, the app converts your actual run, walk or race to a challenge map chasing (or being chased by) your friends along a more exotic fictional distance. So, when you run your usual 5 miles or walk 3 kilometers, you will also move ahead the same distance on the challenge map in Dream Challenge. You can challenge up to ten friends per challenge in one of the following categories:-running-walking-biking-skiingYou can challenge anyone in your contact list who has the Dream Challenge application. Your friends, your partner, your neighbors, your relatives, your work mates, or your team mates. And you can choose any distance in the world. Take a walk through Manhattan: first one from Battery Park to Harlem, passing by Broadway, Central Park and Ground Zero. Run across the Gobi desert or from Sao Paolo to Rio. Bike through France or from San Francisco to Los Angeles. Ski across the Himalaya or the Antarctic. Or run the most classic of all distances: from Marathon to Athens in Greece. You can choose a shorter distance for a week - or an epic challenge over a continent for about a year. And you can switch between traditional map and satellite view.Through Dream Challenge, you will always be notified when someone else in your challenge has started moving in a challenge, and you can chat with the other participants - cheering or giving them a hard time. You will see how far you and the other people in your challenge have run on a map. You can also share your challenges on Facebook.Thinking about cheating? There will always be ways to do that. But we've tried to make it somewhat harder for you to do that. And, most importantly, what's the fun in winning by cheating?) To add further motivation, you can define an award for the winner of the challenge, e g $10, a hug, a trip to Bahamas or just honor and glory.So, just challenge a couple of friends, and bring your iPhone when you take a walk or go for a run!Battery use disclaimer: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
