Spectrum Digital Productions was founded in 1986 by Paulo Franco. VXZ was founded in 1989 by Victor Sant'Anna. VXZ-Spectrum a joint-venture between Spectrum and VXZ, and has been providing educational PC shareware and freeware for over twenty years.
Sant'Anna is the author of more than sixty educational software in portuguese. His products have won favorable reviews in some publications including Epoca Magazine, and Info Exame Magazine.
VXZ-Spectrum distributes its products under the shareware principles. Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try software before buying it.
