VMT Software started in 1989, writing our Video Rental Software. After a few months, and collecting lots of sheets of paper for our contacts, we purchased a contact program (This was a DOS program). After a while, we discovered it didn't do all the things we wanted it to do, so being the enterprising young software company we were, we wrote our own contact management system.
And we've been working on that program, prospector, for 23 years, improving it, adding utilities to it, but mostly using it to sell our flagship product.
