TopoFusion grew from a dissatisfaction in current mapping programs. After searching and evaluating GPS Mapping programs, we came to the conclusion that not only could things be done better, they needed to be done better. We wrote TopoFusion to fill a need. We wrote it for our own use, and hope others will find it useful too.The program continues to evolve and grow as we, the authors, use it to log our adventures. We have many ideas on the drawing board for extensions and new features. We also welcome any suggestions/ideas. The program has been largely shaped by our user base.
